Full Job Description

A trusted leader in facility management is looking for a senior manager to join our growing team. The senior manager will oversee several services at a single location to include cleaning, vendor management and maintenance. With a commitment to precision and regulatory compliance, the site manager ensures that clients maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Compliance

Supervise daily cleaning operations and verify completion of all assigned work per client protocols and company standards.
Conduct frequent site audits, document findings, and implement corrective actions where needed.
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure cross-training, accurate documentation, and corrective actions are in place.
Maintain and update training records and ensure all team members remain current on procedural changes.
Investigate operational deviations and collaborate with client representatives to implement process improvements.
Review and verify that all quality documentation, logs, and signature records are completed accurately.

People Management & Training

Lead and support supervisors, trainers, and cleaning technicians.
Ensure all staff receive consistent guidance, coaching, and follow-up on training expectations.
Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and shift coverage to support uninterrupted service delivery.
Participate in recruiting events, conduct interviews, and coordinate new hire onboarding.
Enforce company and client dress code, conduct standards, and workplace safety policies.
Oversee payroll accuracy and compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Manage employee relations, including performance reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions when required.

Client Relations & Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for the client regarding operational updates, project coordination, and performance discussions.
Develop and present monthly reports highlighting key performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in client meetings and provide recommendations on procedural clarifications or process optimizations.
Ensure all training and compliance data is entered accurately into client systems to maintain 100% adherence.

Health, Safety & Environment

Lead the site’s safety and risk management programs, ensuring adherence to PPE requirements and safety procedures.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and report findings to client safety teams.
Identify and address potential hazards within the workspace and promote a proactive safety culture.

Administrative & Other Duties

Oversee timekeeping, billing documentation, and tracking of additional or out-of-scope services.
Attend client or internal management meetings to review schedules, resources, and improvement plans.
Maintain effective communication between all levels of staff and company leadership.
Support new facility start-ups and ensure proper documentation and invoicing systems are in place.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Capability to lift up to 40 lbs, work overhead, and stand for extended periods.
Proven leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail with strong documentation and handwriting skills.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment in a management role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, or clean manufacturing facilities.
Familiarity with custodial operations, floor care programs, and equipment management.
