Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front of House Manager at Coughlin's Law Kitchen and Alehouse to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of food service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, efficiency, and excellence across all front-of-house functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the guest experience while maintaining smooth restaurant operations in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support personnel, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Oversee food preparation and presentation standards to uphold quality and consistency in a casual dining or fine dining environment.
Manage POS system Toast POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, monitor stock rotation, and assist with ordering to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Handle shift management including scheduling, supervising daily operations, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Support kitchen management by coordinating between front-of-house and kitchen teams to optimize food production and service flow during busy periods
Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences that promote guest loyalty and positive reviews.

Experience

Proven management experience (3+ years) within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in fast casual dining environments.
Extensive background in food service management with a focus on customer service excellence and team supervision.
Hands-on experience with POS system with Toast; familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively in food safety practices, food handling protocols, and hospitality standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts efficiently, and foster a positive work environment.
Knowledge of inventory control techniques along with experience in budgeting and cost management within the food industry.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in our fast casual restaurant.

Position:

$250 Per Shift - 4 to 5 shifts per week ($60K / Year)
