We are seeking an energetic, happy, multitasking, dynamic and organized professional to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative duties. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate patient documentation, and efficient appointment scheduling. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors
Verify insurance coverage through insurance providers and perform insurance eligibility checks
Schedule appointments efficiently using Eaglesoft dental practice management software
Collect payments, process collections, and handle billing procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
Review patient documentation for completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries and coordinate patient flow
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper filing of dental and medical documentation in our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system
Verify insurance benefits for procedures and communicate coverage details clearly to patients
Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating health histories
Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area

Skills

Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and active listening abilities
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (including 10 key typing)
Ability to handle sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude
