Full Job Description

Come Join Our Growing Team!

Upper Peninsula State Bank, with offices in Escanaba, Gladstone, Iron Mountain, Marquette, and Houghton, Michigan is seeking a full-time Universal Banker for our Delta County Market.

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

Meet with new and potential customers to discuss Bank products and services including deposit accounts, CDs, and e-channel delivery options
Opening accounts and building customer relationships
Responding to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through e-mail
Cash handling and performing teller transactions
Recordkeeping and various reporting duties
Cross-training to assist in other areas as needed

Skills required for this position include:

Outstanding customer service skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The ability to develop a great rapport with customers as well as internal and external referral sources.
A strong sales aptitude and aspirations to cross-sell bank products and services
Familiarity with Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel
An upbeat, positive, and optimistic attitude

This job does require occasional Saturdays.
