Initial Emergency Department Assignment
T.J. Regional Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Internal Resource Program.
Assignment
The initial assignment will be in the Emergency Department in Glasgow, Kentucky, for approximately 13 weeks.
Following the initial ED assignment, the RN will transition into the Internal Resource Pool and may support Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, Emergency Services, or other clinical and specialty areas based on organizational needs and the RN's qualifications and demonstrated competencies.
The primary work location is Glasgow, Kentucky. RNs may occasionally be assigned to our Columbia, Kentucky location for an individual shift or a defined period of time based on staffing needs.
Position Highlights
- 12-month assignment
- $50.00/hour – Day Shift
- $60.00/hour – Night Shift
- 36 hours per week
- Initial approximately 13-week Emergency Department assignment
- Transition to the Internal Resource Pool following the initial assignment
- Every-other-weekend scheduling expectation unless otherwise approved
- Overtime eligibility in accordance with applicable requirements
Benefits & Time Off
This position is eligible for a limited benefit package. Internal Resource assignments do not accrue PTO, vacation, or sick leave.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing
- Current Kentucky RN license or multistate RN license with privilege to practice in Kentucky
- Minimum two (2) years of RN bedside experience
- Minimum one (1) year of Emergency Department RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification required within 90 days of start of assignment
- Ability to successfully meet department-specific orientation and competency requirements
- Demonstrated clinical judgment, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in changing clinical environments
Internal Resource RNs must be willing to accept assignments based on organizational staffing needs and work in clinical areas for which they are appropriately qualified, oriented, and competent.
