Full Job Description

Job Overview:

Endless Discoveries Child Development Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Director to join our team in Glen Rose. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that offers a unique combination of administrative, financial, and childcare responsibilities.

In this role you will focus on daily center operations, staff support, compliance, and classroom assistance as needed.

This role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of a childcare environment. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and be able to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Owner with bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping using Procare child management software.
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation.
conduct administrative duties and daily center operations.
Help ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards and center policies.
Provide excellent customer service to families, staff, and community members.
Assist with staff support, scheduling, and other management-related tasks as assigned
Step into classrooms as needed to maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios and support program operations.
Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
Complete additional duties as assigned to support the needs of the center

Ideal Candidate:

Has experience with Procare, Microsoft Word, bookkeeping, and Microsoft Excel.
Has prior childcare, early childhood education, or child development experience.
Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
Can work independently while also collaborating with management and teaching staff.
Is professional, dependable, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Enjoys working with both children and adults in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday - Friday schedule
Location: Glen Rose, Tx

Pay: $34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
