Full Job Description

Vaco has partnered with a company in need of an experienced Payroll & Benefits Consultant to step into a critical role following an unexpected departure. This individual will provide hands-on support across payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring business continuity and accuracy during a key transition period. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to quickly take ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Consultant
Location: Remote (Pacific or Mountain Time preferred)
Pay Rate: $42 - $50 per hour
Project Duration: 4-6+ months (contract-to-hire preferred)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities Include:

Process full cycle payroll accurately and on schedule
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments and changes
Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations across applicable jurisdictions

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance
Experience working within BambooHR preferred
CPP and/or CEBS certification preferred
