Marketing Assistant or Marketing Coordinator for Prestigious Law Firm

Location: In-office – Encino, CA
Schedule: Full-time; must be flexible for occasional evenings and weekends for events, filming, and community outreach

About the Role

We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant or Marketing Coordinator to support our in-house marketing and intake efforts at a prestigious plaintiff's law firm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, filming and editing videos, supporting events, and helping execute marketing campaigns from start to finish. You’ll work closely with our marketing and leadership team to help grow brand visibility, engagement, and community presence.

Key Responsibilities

Film, edit, and produce short-form and long-form video content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Assist with podcast filming, set-up, content, audio/video editing, episode distribution, and marketing
Create engaging social media content with a demonstrated record of performance (growth, engagement, reach, or conversions)
Assist with content planning, posting schedules, and basic performance tracking
Help create marketing materials, presentations, and digital content (blogs, newsletters, graphics, etc.).
Attend and support marketing events, including evenings and weekends as needed, for filming, setup, and promotion
Assist with marketing campaigns throughout the full lifecycle, from planning and execution to tracking and follow-up
Assist in managing marketing inventory, including inventory tracking and purchasing
Assist with day-to-day marketing and intake tasks and help keep projects on track
Collaborate with internal team members to maintain brand consistency

Qualifications

Proven video editing experience. Please provide a portfolio with examples for review.
Hands-on experience filming and creating content for social media with measurable success (please be prepared to share examples or a portfolio)
Comfortable being behind the camera and in fast-paced, real-world environments (events, office, community settings)
Basic knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Ability and willingness to work after hours and weekends when required for events
Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks without constant supervision
Must be able to work in-office in Encino, CA and have reliable transportation to attend events and film around the LA metropolitan area

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with email marketing campaigns
Experience with blog and web content writing
Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics or Wordpress
Event planning or event coordination experience
Prior experience in professional services, legal, or local business marketing
