Full Job Description

**Civil Construction Estimator**

**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for commercial construction projects, negotiating pricing for contracts, and ensuring cost control measures are in place.

**Duties:**

- Utilize software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, AGTEK and Business Center to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.

- Negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing.

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.

- Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for estimating.

- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine the overall project scope along wtih materials, labor, and equipment needed.

- Provide detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals for clients.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in Civil Construction Estimating and some Project Management preferred, but not required.

- Familiarity with Construction site operations and build processes.

- Proficiency in using HeavyBid, Bluebeam, AGTEK and Business Center software.

- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.

- Excellent analytical and mathematical sills for accurate cost calculations.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong negotiation skills to secure faborable pricing from vendors and suppliers.
