Job Title: Travel LPN LONG TERM CARE

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with expertise in managing the unique needs of residents in a skilled nursing or assisted living environment. As an LPN in this role, you will provide high-quality nursing services, support residents' well-being, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Your commitment to professionalism and excellence will contribute significantly to enhancing residents' quality of life.

Weekly Gross Pay: $1,750.00

Weekly Taxable Pay: $504.00

Non-taxable Weekly: $1,246.00

Minimum 2 Years' experience in LPN LONG TERM CARE:

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking experienced LPN LONG TERM CARE to fill an opening place located in Glendive, MT for $48.61/hr. (Taxed+ nontaxed)

Requirements of LPN LONG TERM CARE:

● Must have AHA BLS.

● Must have a valid state MT License or Compact license.

● Must have at least 2 years of experience as an LPN LONG TERM CARE

Responsibilities of LPN LONG TERM CARE:

Shift: - 12 Hours Nights
Shift Details: 3 on/3 off
36 hours/week. (3*12)
17-week contract
Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders, including injections, IV infusions, and catheter care.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document medical information using electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility support, hygiene, and nutrition management such as tube feeding.
Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory support strategies.
Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, HIPAA confidentiality policies, and infection control standards.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Educate residents and their families on health conditions, medication administration, and self-care techniques.

Experience

Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current state certification.
Prior experience working in long-term care facilities such as skilled nursing facilities or assisted living communities.
Demonstrated proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health record systems like Epic or Cerner.
Experience managing complex patient needs including acute pain management, infectious disease care, and chronic condition management.
Familiarity with geriatric populations and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
Additional experience in hospice care, trauma centers (Level I/II), or hospital settings such as ICU or emergency medicine is highly valued.
