Responsibilities

Prepare menu item ingredient.
Prepare and cook meals with precision, utilizing strong knife skills and food handling techniques
Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal for fine dining or catering events
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety standards
Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service to residents or guests
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, portioning, and assembling dishes
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation
Strong background in culinary arts, including cooking techniques and food industry standards
Experience in fine dining environments or catering settings is highly desirable
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling and safety protocols
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen experience, including serving and food service operations
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
