Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist with expertise in general ultrasound for a contract opportunity. This role features a reliable weekday schedule, providing a desirable work-life balance in a professional imaging environment.

Schedule:

5x8s day shift
No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements

Qualifications:

Current ARDMS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in sonography
Proficiency performing a variety of general ultrasound exams
Experience with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems strongly preferred
Previous travel assignment experience preferred
Ability to work independently and effectively within a clinical team

Key Responsibilities:

Complete high-quality general ultrasound studies in accordance with established protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs
Adhere to strict safety and infection control policies
Prepare examination rooms and provide excellent patient care and communication
Collaborate with radiology staff, clinicians, and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient assessment
Troubleshoot and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting issues as necessary
Keep skills up to date and participate in ongoing departmental quality assurance
