Full Job Description

Company Overview: Imagineering Machine Inc. was founded in 1984. We are an ISO9001:2015 registered precision machine shop working within several sectors including aerospace, space, semiconductor, and industrial automation among others. We're running a broad range of close tolerance machined parts out of a vast array of materials. Our typical orders are from 1 to 1000 with most of our jobs falling within the 5-50 piece lot sizes.

Position Overview: CNC Programmer/Machinist to program/setup/run 3- and 5-Axis mills and/or lathes. CAD/CAM knowledge required. Mastercam CADCAM knowledge a huge plus! Must understand G/M codes, tooling, setup and fixturing. DO NOT apply if you have no experience taking a model/print from start to finish.

Additional points for experience in automation, mechatronics, etc.

Pay/Benefits:

Rate: TBD

Annual Company Bonus – eligible immediately

Annual Company Profit Sharing – eligible after 1 year

Flextime Scheduling: 6:00am-6:00pm, optional overtime.

Holidays (7 days paid/annually)

Medical Insurance: ICHRA Reimbursement (after 60 days)

Tool and Equipment Assistance: 10% discount on any purchased tools

Paid Time Off

Skills and Responsibilities:

Program CNC equipment from start to finish including working with solid models, selecting tooling, building fixtures as required, and running parts to completion.

Proficient with inspection, GD&T, and various inspection tools.

Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines

Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork

Effective and appropriate oral and written communication skills, including legible handwriting in English

Work with others as part of a high performance team

Adapt to changing work priorities

Able to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures

Follow standard procedures and practices

Accept and apply on the job training to advance your skill level

Remain positive in challenging work environments

Essential Job Functions:

Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE.

Promptly report all injuries and unsafe conditions

Regular and on-time attendance for full scheduled work shift

Maintain a favorable working relationship with coworkers to promote a cooperative working climate conducive to maximum productivity, efficiency and effectiveness

Participate and support Continuous Improvement initiatives

Communicate relevant information and concerns positively and effectively to others in timely manner

Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements

Write and optimize CNC programs to create parts on 3 and 4 and 5 axis machining centers

Develop work holding and select cutting tools based on part feature and material requirements

Create and compile necessary documents and work procedures to aid in machine set up and operation

Verifying the availability of the tooling needed to run parts associated with the programs

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
