Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and supporting the kitchen’s high-volume production needs. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences, whether in fine dining settings or catering events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties

Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Assist with food production tasks such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling to support meal preparation
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and food processors
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
Support the dietary department by assisting with dietary-specific meal preparations and menu planning when needed
Help with food plating and presentation to meet fine dining standards or catering specifications
Follow recipe instructions precisely to ensure consistency across all dishes prepared

Experience

Previous dietary aide or food service experience preferred; experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens is a plus
Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
Skilled in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Familiarity with food industry standards for food handling, recipe adherence, and food production processes
Proven ability to work well within a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
