Financial Controller

Job Summary

The Financial Controller is responsible for managing daily financial operations. This role delivers critical financial insights to executive leadership, drives process efficiencies, and safeguards fiscal integrity to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a three-person Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate, timely processing and vendor compliance.
Financial Oversight: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and core financial reporting transactions.
Close & Reporting: Streamline and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to consistently deliver timely, accurate financial statements.
Compliance & GAAP: Ensure all financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting procedures adhere strictly to GAAP and internal controls.
Analysis & Budgeting: Analyze financial results, variance trends, costs, and budgets to provide actionable data to leadership.
Forecasting: Prepare comprehensive forecast reports for corporate income, expenses, and long-term earnings.
Tax Management: Gather and analyze financial data across business units to manage compliant, multi-state tax reporting.
Process Improvement: Design, implement, and document accounting policies and standardized operating procedures to reduce manual redundancies.

Job Requirements

Credentials: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License.
Experience: 3+ years of public accounting and auditing experience, with a strong background in full-cycle accounting.
Technical Expertise: Proficient in QuickBooks and automated billing systems.
Core Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of corporate tax preparation, payroll oversight, budgeting, and GAAP compliance.
Power Skills: Uncompromising integrity handling sensitive data, sharp analytical skills, and multi-state operational knowledge.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
