Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Government Contracting & RFP (Request for Proposal) Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for someone with a long term mindset interested in building a career. An individual who is successful in this role can expect to build an extremely strong income over time. The base salary for this role is $50,000 USD/Year. The role is designed to be primarily commission based with lifetime commissions paid monthly for all active accounts that were acquired in this role and no cap on potential earnings.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead government contract acquisition, manage the RFP and government solicitation response processes, and craft compelling proposals that align with federal and private goals and regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating expertise in efficiency, organization, computer skills, RFP response, proposal creation, federal government contracting, and associated tools such as SAM.gov, DemandStar, GovGPT and many more. The primary focus of the role is winning federal government contracts, however, there will be extensive opportunities to respond to and win RFP's in various other private and government sectors across the United States.

Duties

Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other procurement regulations.
Lead the development, writing, and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and government solicitations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.
Maintain meticulous records of contract documents using document management systems, tools, and websites such as Salesforce, GovGPT, SAM.gov, etc..
Collaborate with internal teams on strategic planning, business development, and proposal pricing strategies to maximize opportunities.

Skills

Extensive experience in government contract management and public & private sector purchasing processes.
Strong knowledge of procurement regulatory frameworks such as FAR.
Proficiency in document review, negotiation tactics, and compliance management.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite; experience with Salesforce, GovGPT, SAM.gov preferred.
Strong research capabilities combined with technical writing skills for proposal development.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills; adept at change management and strategic planning initiatives.
