Full Job Description

Assists attorneys and staff with various tasks in a real estate law firm, ensuring efficiency by providing clerical services and other supportive aid. Responsibilities include administrative and secretarial duties, document preparation, scheduling, and client communication.

Tasks may include:

· Answering phones, managing files (both physical and electronic), scanning and copying documents, scheduling appointments, preparing outgoing packages and handling mail.

· Drafting legal documents, scheduling closings, meetings, etc., assisting with organizing and maintaining case files, interacting with clients and other legal professionals, and providing updates on case status.

· Preparing closing documents, coordinating ongoing projects, developing procedures to track client matters, attending meetings/hearings while taking and consolidating notes, maintaining calendars, and working closely with various team members to promote clear communication.

Skills & Experience needed:

· Minimum of an Associate’s Degree and five years’ experience in Real Estate law or related field. ABA Paralegal Certification and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies a plus.

· Strong understanding of legal terminology and real estate verbiage.

· Knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software; comfortable navigating various online databases.

· Ability to manage time well and prioritize effectively with careful attention to detail.

· Superior analytical, oral and written communication skills.

· Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills.

Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
