The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Catering Servers to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Catering Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting. Please note that this is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$10.00 - $10.00 / hour

What will you do?

Sets up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order.
Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
Sets buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to pre-established standards.
Assists with food and table prep before events begin.
Returns unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the Commissary.
Serves food neatly and attractively according to pre-established standards.
Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively according to pre-established standards.
Cleans up the venue after the event ends and assists with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
Performs necessary tasks to service guests including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing of dirty dishes.
Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, and requests identification adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.
Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable).
Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates.
Breaks down events according to company procedures.

Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent guest service skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, including listening skills
Must have open availability, including day time availability.

Physical requirements

Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of shift.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Mobility to maneuver between tables.
