Community Summary
The Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a rustic, contemporary ski-in/ski-out lodge with a slopeside location just 110 feet from the Zephyr Express Lift. It's as close as you can sleep to the lifts without sleeping outside. The Zephyr combines a heightened level of sophistication and elegance, providing you and your family with a memorable Colorado vacation experience. Mountain-side units have a view of the Village area, while the Divide side units have a view of the Continental Divide. Role Summary
The Onsite Janitorial Associate is responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall maintenance of the assigned facility. You will perform various cleaning and maintenance duties to create a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for occupants, visitors, and employees.
Responsibilities

Cleaning Tasks

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors

Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
-
Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly

Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors

Refilling soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.

Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
-
Polishing furniture and metal fixtures
-
Maintenance and Repair
-
Reporting any damages, repairs, or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor

Basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs
-
Performing routine inspections to identify areas that require maintenance or repairs
-
Safety and Compliance
-
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment
-
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
-
Properly handling and storing cleaning products and equipment
-
Organization and Stock Management
-
Keeping cleaning supplies and equipment well-maintained, organized, and stocked

Maintaining inventory records of cleaning supplies and requesting replenishment as needed

Managing supply storage areas in a neat and orderly manner

Team Collaboration

Cooperating and collaborating with other janitorial staff or team members

Communicating effectively with supervisors or facility managers regarding tasks and requirements

Qualifications

Proven experience as a janitor, cleaner, or similar role may be preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment usage

Ability to handle basic maintenance and repair tasks.

Physical stamina and capability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects.

Attention to detail and thoroughness in carrying out cleaning tasks.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends, if required
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.

Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.

Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.

Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).

Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.
