What You'll Do as a Home Health Aide (HHA)

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care that allows clients to maintain their independence and quality of life at home. Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance
Supporting safe transfers, ambulation, and exercises as directed by the care plan
Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
Providing light housekeeping, laundry, and assistance with maintaining a safe home environment
Assisting with grocery shopping and approved errands
Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Helping clients maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable living space
Recognizing and reporting changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Completing accurate documentation of care and services provided
Developing trusting relationships with clients and their families
Collaborating with the client's care team to ensure quality, compassionate care

What We're Looking For

Current Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or successful completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program
Compassionate, dependable, and professional individuals who take pride in their work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
Ability to work independently while following an individualized care plan
Previous home care experience preferred, but not required
