Rapid Response Restoration is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Water Damage Mitigation Estimator to join our team. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers during difficult situations, and has the knowledge to accurately scope and estimate water damage mitigation projects.

Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties for water damage.
- Develop accurate mitigation scopes using industry standards (IICRC).
- Prepare estimates using Xactimate
- Communicate with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and contractors.
- Explain the mitigation process and answer customer questions.
- Coordinate with field technicians to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Monitor job progress and update estimates as needed.
- Document losses with photos, moisture readings, and detailed notes.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance professionals and referral partners.
- Assist with emergency response when needed.
- Create and prepare documentation for homeowners and insurance using Encircle
- Follow up with adjuster and homeowners for payment
Qualifications
- Experience in water damage restoration and mitigation.
- Estimating experience (Xactimate preferred).
- Knowledge of IICRC S500 standards.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read moisture maps and assess affected materials.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work occasional after-hours or on-call rotations.
- Organized, self-motivated, and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
- Xactimate Level 1 or higher
- Previous experience working with insurance claims
