Grand Junction, Colorado Audiologist | One Day Weekly

Frontera Search Partners is recruiting an audiologist for a part-time opportunity in Grand Junction, Colorado. This assignment offers a consistent one-day-per-week schedule performing structured hearing evaluations for Veterans.

The work is focused on Compensation and Pension disability examinations rather than ongoing treatment. The audiologist will complete objective hearing assessments and document the clinical findings needed for the disability-review process.

This opportunity is a good fit for an audiologist seeking dependable per diem work with a limited weekly commitment and clearly defined responsibilities.

Grand Junction Audiologist Schedule

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Facility type: Veteran disability-evaluation clinic
Schedule: One day per week
Assignment type: Part time or per diem
Work setting: In person
Patient population: U.S. Veterans completing disability evaluations

The specific clinic day and start date will be confirmed during the interview and scheduling process.

Focused Veteran Hearing Evaluations

This is an evaluation-only assignment. The audiologist conducts standardized examinations and documents objective findings related to each Veteran’s claimed hearing conditions.

The role does not involve ongoing hearing treatment or management of a traditional patient panel. Disability determinations are made by the appropriate government agency and are not decided by the examining audiologist.

The structured workflow allows the audiologist to focus on accurate testing, professional Veteran interactions, and timely documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-person audiology disability examinations.
Review relevant medical and service records.
Discuss claimed hearing conditions and relevant history with each Veteran.
Perform required audiological testing according to established protocols.
Document objective clinical findings clearly and accurately.
Complete required Disability Benefits Questionnaires and medical opinions when applicable.
Submit examination reports within required timelines.
Follow established quality and documentation standards.
Maintain a respectful, professional experience for each Veteran.
Keep testing equipment and the examination space ready for scheduled appointments.

Qualifications

Required

Master’s or doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
Active Colorado audiologist license
Experience conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations
Ability to perform required hearing tests independently
Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills
Professional and respectful communication
Ability to work on-site in Grand Junction one day per week

Preferred

Previous Compensation and Pension examination experience
Experience working with Veterans
Familiarity with structured electronic documentation systems
