Overview

Join our manufacturing team as a Laser Operator and become a vital contributor to precision metal fabrication! In this role, you will operate advanced laser cutting machinery to produce high-quality components, ensuring efficiency and safety at every step. Your expertise will help drive our production forward, supporting innovative projects and delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines with precision, ensuring accurate cuts according to technical drawings and blueprints
Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to produce parts that meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laser equipment to maintain optimal performance
Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement verification
Adjust machine parameters and tooling setups for different sheet metal types and thicknesses to achieve desired tolerances
Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe operation of machinery such as cranes
Collaborate with team members on workflow

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment. Bodor and Mazak Experience preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Ability to perform precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes
Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments, including crane operation and sheet metal fabrication safety protocols
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and machine adjustments
Experience with fabrication processes involving sheet metal, tooling, hand tools, and assembly techniques is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues promptly
