Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Lead Prep Cook to support our culinary team with ingredient preparation, meal assembly, and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen. Your attention to detail, food safety awareness, and enthusiasm for cooking will help create a great dining experience while offering opportunities to grow your culinary skills. You will be the person responsible for ensuring all pars are prepped and ready for the head chef.

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for all pars being prepped and lead team to ensure all tasks are takes care of.
Prep ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
Assist with cooking and meal assembly under chef or manager supervision.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
Prepare dish components according to recipes and menu specifications.
Store, label, and rotate ingredients properly to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
Support catering operations by preparing large batches of ingredients or dishes.
Help the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Follow all health and safety regulations consistently.

Experience

Prior food prep, cooking, or restaurant experience is required.
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices is essential.
Knife skills and basic cooking techniques are highly beneficial.
Experience in catering or food service environments is helpful.
Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards is required.
Speaking and understanding Spainish is required for this role
