Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This energetic position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of a fast-paced hospitality setting, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manually wash cookware, utensils, and dishware following food safety sanitizing procedures.
Ensure all dishes and kitchen tools are cleaned promptly to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Assist with food preparation tasks and support the bussing of tables as needed to promote cleanliness and efficiency.
Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and boxes safely in accordance with kitchen health and safety standards.
Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning work areas, sinks, and dishwashing equipment.
Support food handling procedures by adhering to hygiene protocols and proper storage practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to uphold restaurant experience quality through cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and kitchen health standards.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and basic utensils.
Strong understanding of food handling procedures, including proper knife skills when assisting with prep work.
Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
