Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our new BuddhaBerry location opening at CityPlace in West Palm Beach in September. This is our 3rd store for the company (other locations are in The Hamptons, NY). This role is perfect for a passionate hospitality professional eager to oversee daily operations, inspire a talented team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As the driving force behind our stores' success, you will manage everything from food preparation to customer service and staff development. Your leadership will ensure smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experiences for every guest while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and hospitality excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual ready to make a positive impact in a fast-paced, fun environment. BuddhaBerry is rapidly expanding with a 4th store opening in 1Q27 so there are opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations, including food preparation and service delivery to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Supervise staff training, development, and scheduling to foster a motivated and well-trained team.
Manage POS system (Toast) and accurate cash handling and sales processing.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through regular inspections and staff training.
Handle shift management duties including coordinating staff coverage, resolving customer issues promptly, and maintaining high service standards.
Implement management best practices in restaurant management, including budgeting, cost control, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with owners to ensure Company SOPs, objectives and processes are met.

Qualifications

Strong experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, and interviewing skills.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling experience required.
Knowledge of inventory control, food safety protocols, and hospitality management principles.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service excellence and staff motivation.
2+ years in previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is required.
