Job Title: Automotive Body Shop Estimator

Position Overview: As an Automotive Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed repair estimates, and ensuring the accuracy of the work required. Your role will involve interacting with customers, insurance companies, and repair teams to facilitate a smooth repair process and maintain high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair needs.
Strong proficiency in automotive estimating platforms and dealership management system (DMS) software.
Communicate with customers to explain repair costs, procedures, and timelines.
Collaborate with insurance adjusters and other stakeholders to validate estimates and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain thorough records of all estimates, repair orders, and communications.
Monitor repair progress and ensure that work is performed according to estimates and quality standards.
Address customer concerns and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
Stay current with industry trends, repair techniques, and technology.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an Automotive Body Shop Estimator.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts.
Strong proficiency in automotive estimating platforms and dealership management system (DMS) software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
