Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive exceptional patient experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between patients and our dental professionals, ensuring smooth communication, comprehensive treatment planning, and efficient administrative support. Your proactive approach will help patients feel confident and cared for from their initial consultation through post-treatment follow-up. Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment options and scheduling appointments with enthusiasm and clarity
Coordinate treatment plans by collaborating with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage details to patients, assisting with pre-authorizations and claims processing
Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date patient information in compliance with health regulation policies
Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing procedures
Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions and follow-up appointments to promote optimal health outcomes
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and privacy policies related to medical office operations and electronic health records management

Qualifications

Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting, with familiarity in healthcare administrative procedures
Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, insurance processes, and medical terminology
Experience supporting medical administrative functions using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of dental office workflows and experience working within a healthcare team is highly preferred
Demonstrated understanding of health insurance benefits, claims processing, and regulatory compliance
