Full Job Description

Position Overview

Responsible to develop and foster group business bookings through pro-active direct sales, telemarketing, appointment calls, attending industry networking events, and tours of the hotel. Achieve established monthly room night and activity goals.

Essential Functions

- Responsible for an established regional territory or vertical market segment.

- Clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies and goals to determine action plans.

- Identify new business opportunities.

- Provide quick and timely responses to develop professional long-term business relationships.

- Provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times.

- Responding to RFP’s, writing Proposals, Contracts and all modifications to documents.

- Account and booking maintenance in property booking software.

- Work closely with the Conference Services Department to effectively meet customer requirements.

- Attend Sales meetings and other hotel department and client meetings as required.

- Submit activity and booking reports to DOS as required.

Requirements

- Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

- Willing and able to travel to establish and maintain client networks.

- Ability to think creatively and analytically.

- Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.

- Communicates clearly and effectively.

- Demonstrates strong negotiation skills.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
