About Us

Fields Landscaping Co Inc is a rapidly growing commercial and residential landscaping company serving the North Carolina Triad. We specialize in landscape maintenance, drainage solutions, irrigation, hardscaping, turf management, seasonal color, snow and ice management, and landscape enhancements.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a professional, organized, and relationship-driven Account Manager to become the primary point of contact for many of our clients. This position focuses on building strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional communication, coordinating with operations, and helping deliver a first-class customer experience.

Position Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for managing existing client relationships from initial onboarding through ongoing service. You'll conduct site visits, communicate with clients, coordinate with field operations, follow up on proposals, and ensure projects move smoothly from start to finish.

This is not primarily a cold-calling or business development role. While identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts is important, the primary focus is providing outstanding service and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial and residential clients.
Build long-term relationships through proactive communication and regular follow-up.
Conduct site visits and property walkthroughs.
Respond promptly to client questions, concerns, and service requests.
Coordinate with operations to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Account Management

Manage client accounts throughout the entire service lifecycle.
Prepare and present estimates and proposals.
Follow up on pending proposals and approvals.
Coordinate project scheduling with operations.
Assist clients with service recommendations and planning.
Monitor recurring maintenance agreements and renewals.

Client Growth Opportunities

Identify opportunities within existing accounts for services including:

Landscape Maintenance
Drainage Solutions
Irrigation
Seasonal Flowers
Mulch & Pine Needles
Turf Care
Tree & Shrub Care
Landscape Enhancements
Snow & Ice Management

Communication & Coordination

Maintain detailed records within the company CRM.
Coordinate closely with office staff and field teams.
Communicate professionally through phone, email, Google Meet, and Zoom.
Ensure clients receive timely updates throughout each project.
Assist with resolving issues before they impact the customer experience.

Technology & Systems

We use technology extensively throughout our company. Candidates should be comfortable learning and using:

CRM software
Google Workspace
Microsoft Office
LMN (or similar landscape management software)
AI productivity tools
Scheduling software
Google Meet & Zoom

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary: From $43,000 per year (DOE – Depending on Experience)
