Deburr Operator

Job Description

Location: Greenville, MI Department: Deburr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for checking the result of automatic deburring processes
Responsible for examining the appearance of machined wheels and report defects to process technician in time
Other duties as assigned or designated

Gauging

Use calibrated go/no-go gauge to check dimensions on a wheel.
Decide whether wheel is in/out of tolerance.
Visually inspect wheels.
Rework any no conforming wheels
Load back on conveyor

Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Some experience in Manufacturing required
Walk in between machines for the majority of the shift
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally

Responsible for staying focused on tasks at hand
Being responsible for work performance and completing tasks throughout the day

Physical Work Conditions

Must be able to work in a hot environment.
Must be able to lift varying weights
Must be able to push or pull carts of wheels.
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required.
