Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Overnight Grocery Manager to oversee the operations of our grocery store during the night shift. This role is essential in ensuring that our store runs smoothly, providing excellent customer service while managing inventory and staff effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of retail management, with a focus on maintaining high standards of store presentation and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise and manage overnight staff, ensuring effective team management and communication.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Conduct employee training, and development to enhance team performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
Foster a positive shopping experience for customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with upper management on purchasing decisions to optimize product selection.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or grocery store operations is essential.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and employee development.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in inventory control systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
