Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack:

We are a family-owned restaurant and are in our fifteenth year of business. We currently operate three locations. We strive to achieve a higher standard of food quality and guest interaction than other fast casual restaurants. We also strive to be a better employer than most. We are proud to support local producers and artisans. We have very exacting standards on food quality, guest hospitality and facility cleanliness. We believe in well-paced and steady growth.

Restaurant General Manager:

Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack in Greenville is seeking an experienced General Manager. The successful candidate will learn our culture and values and build rapport with our team while blending smoothly with our existing leadership group. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate guest service professional with a keen sense of the guest experience. You should have the judgement and instincts of a true leader, who your team will be happy to follow. We offer a high-volume environment in which to prosper.You will report directly to the owners and the Controller of the company. You must be willing to live in the Greenville area.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years successful restaurant management experience, with at least two years in the role of General Manager
Full knowledge of and experience with FOH and BOH operations required
Bachelor’s or Culinary Degree preferred
Performance metrics are an essential part of this job. You must have experience with Profit and Loss Statements and the ability to manage effectively and budget accordingly.
Proven track record of hiring, training, and developing high performing teams in a high volume environment.
Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)

The Job:

Maintain all aspects of a successful and busy restaurant
This is not a "clipboard manager" position - it is hands on, side by side role
Ensure that we always serve food at our standard
Lead with integrity and focus on the Company’s mission and values
Manage the Guest hospitality experience to our standard and when needed, take action/respond to guest issues and or complaints in a timely and positive manner
Effectively manage Team Member morale and maintain a positive attitude among the team by knowing and caring about them and being available to them as needed.
Maintain a sparkling clean restaurant – front and back of house. One store- one standard!
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House scheduling and daily restaurant operations
Manage restaurant performance to budget in C.O.G.S., supply costs, labor costs, scheduling, employee turnover, cleanliness and financial targets
Work effectively as a member of a strong Regional Leadership Team
Ensure the safety of guests and Team Members through training and execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards and guidelines
