Customer Experience Specialist / Sales Appointment Coordinator (BDC)

Full-Time or Part-Time | Paid Training | No Automotive Experience Required

Job Overview:

Heritage GMC Buick is looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Customer Experience Specialist / Sales Appointment Coordinator to join our Internet Sales team.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play an important role in creating a positive first impression of our dealership. You'll respond to online inquiries, phone calls, text messages, and chat requests, answer questions, schedule appointments, and help connect customers with the right member of our sales team.

If you enjoy helping people, communicating with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. No previous automotive experience is required; we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to internet inquiries, phone calls, text messages, and online chat inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and follow up on sales appointments.
Build rapport with customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Answer basic questions about vehicles, financing, and dealership services.
Follow up with customers who are still shopping or who missed their scheduled appointment.
Accurately document customer interactions and maintain records using our CRM system.
Work closely with the sales team to provide a seamless customer experience.
Support dealership marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales events.

Qualifications:

Previous customer service, retail, call center, hospitality, or administrative experience is preferred, but not required.
Automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and learning new software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Positive attitude with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Team player with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
