Full Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support a broad range of people operations in White Plains, New York. This position plays an important role in hiring, employee support, policy administration, and day-to-day HR coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to manage HR processes accurately while contributing to a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle hiring activities, including candidate review, interview coordination, and support through the selection process.
Design and deliver welcoming onboarding and orientation experiences that help new employees integrate successfully into the organization.
Foster a constructive work environment by addressing employee concerns and contributing to engagement and retention efforts.
Administer HR policies and practices while helping ensure alignment with applicable employment laws and workplace standards.
Maintain and revise employee handbooks, procedural documents, and related HR guidance materials as needed.
Partner with supervisors on performance review activities, employee development planning, and performance improvement support.
Manage employee information within the HRIS, keeping records current, organized, and accurate.
Produce recurring HR reports and workforce metrics to support operational and leadership decision-making.
Coordinate with payroll and benefits partners to help ensure accurate compensation processing and timely resolution of employee questions.
Support daily HR administrative functions and contribute to broader departmental priorities and strategic initiatives.
Experience in human resources administration with exposure to multiple functional areas such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee support.
Working knowledge of employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Familiarity with benefits administration and coordination with payroll-related processes.
Proficiency using HRIS platforms to update records, track employee data, and generate reports.
Understanding of employment law compliance and HR policy administration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with employees, managers, and HR leadership.
High level of organization and attention to detail when managing documentation and competing priorities.
