Overview
Mental Health Northwest is a growing, client-centered mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and/or families. We value clinician autonomy, work-life balance, and a collaborative professional environment while supporting high-quality clinical care.

We are seeking a licensed mental health clinician to join our practice as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build and maintain a consistent caseload within a supportive practice environment.

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician will provide therapy services through virtual only or in-person sessions. Clinicians must maintain a minimum of 15 completed client hours per week (virtual) and demonstrate professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and ethical care.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy services (depending on specialty and preference)
Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation in a timely manner
Maintain a caseload of at least 15 client-facing hours per week
Deliver services in either in-person and/or telehealth formats
Maintain accurate and compliant records in the electronic health record (EHR)
Collaborate professionally with referral sources and team members when appropriate
Maintain ethical and legal standards of clinical practice

Skills and Qualifications

Active licensure in Oregon (examples: LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent)
Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field
Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with private practice or outpatient mental health settings
Specialized clinical training or niche populations (trauma, anxiety, couples, OCD, neurodiversity, children/adolescents, etc.)
Experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
Comfortable providing telehealth and/or in-person services
