Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires a solid understanding of financial procedures, attention to detail, and familiarity with DMV paperwork as part of the documentation process. The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Duties

Review, verify, and process incoming invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies.
Ensure all payments are made accurately and on time, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain organized records of all transactions, invoices, and related documentation.
Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve payment issues or inquiries.
Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities for management review.
Handle DMV paperwork as required for vehicle-related transactions or documentation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Support internal teams with financial data and documentation as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar finance role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Experience handling DMV paperwork is required, demonstrating familiarity with vehicle-related documentation processes.
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills for effective vendor interactions and internal coordination.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
