Job Summary:

At Inter-Strap, we serve companies across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean by providing packaging consumables and manufacturing machinery. We manage the distribution of a broad range of products and are currently seeking a proactive Customer Service/Telemarketing Representative. We are located in San Juan, Puerto Rico in the Hato Rey area. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing accounts and proactively engaging with potential clients to generate sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities (Telemarketing and CSR):

Handle inbound calls and assist existing customers.
Prepare, modify, and ensure the accuracy of quotes.
Process client orders efficiently.
Monitor and analyze customer purchase patterns.
Manage in-house accounts and support the sales team by generating leads through telephone canvassing.
Coordinate with the logistics department to ensure timely shipments.
Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products.
Perform data entry tasks, including updating customer, account, and supplier information.
Schedule and coordinate additional appointments, optimizing travel plans to maximize customer visits.
Provide support to the customer service team in the Dominican Republic as needed.
Follow up on sales leads and opportunities.
Assist with email correspondence and document preparation for executives.
Bi-Lingual
Collaborate with sales staff and support the Dominican Republic team with quoting and shipping arrangements.

Qualifications (Telemarketing and CSR):

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications or a Business-related field.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer service, logistics, or telemarketing.
Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using CRM systems (Zoho preferred) to track leads and customer activity.
Prior telemarketing experience with a focus on lead generation.
Background in sales and marketing.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will offer high-level support to senior executives, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This role requires excellent scheduling, telephonic, and email communication skills, interacting effectively with customers, prospects, and team members. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong document drafting skills and support the executive team in lead generation activities.
