GENCO General Contractors of P.R. Corp. is seeking a highly responsible, organized, and experienced Field Working Supervisor to oversee and coordinate field operations at a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs federal healthcare facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Field Working Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily field activities, coordinating employees and resources, supporting the successful execution of contract requirements, monitoring work quality and performance, and ensuring that all assigned work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with contract requirements and established company and facility standards.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a federal healthcare environment.

Supervise and coordinate daily field operations and activities assigned by the Company.

Coordinate internal resources, employees, subcontractors, vendors, and other third parties as necessary for the successful execution of work.

Ensure assigned work and project deliverables are completed on time, within established scope, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Ensure adequate availability and allocation of personnel, equipment, materials, and other resources required to support field operations.

Provide direction, guidance, and support to field employees to ensure efficient and productive operations.

Monitor employee performance, work schedules, attendance, productivity, and compliance with assigned duties.

Assist management with identifying operational needs, potential delays, staffing requirements, and other field-related concerns.

Ensure that work is performed in accordance with established quality standards, safety requirements, company policies, and applicable facility procedures.

Conduct routine inspections of work areas and completed work to verify compliance with contract and quality requirements.

Identify deficiencies and take appropriate corrective action or escalate issues to management when necessary.

Assist in defining project scope, objectives, priorities, and operational requirements.

Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and operationally feasible.

Monitor project and field performance using appropriate tools, reports, schedules, and other tracking methods.

Assist in identifying potential issues that may affect schedule, quality, budget, staffing, or contract performance.

Report and escalate operational, personnel, customer, safety, or contract-related issues to management as appropriate.

Support management in ensuring that contract requirements and deliverables are fulfilled.

Ensure field operations remain aligned with the Company's contractual obligations and established procedures.

Assist with documentation, reports, inspections, schedules, and other records required for contract administration and field operations.

Maintain a professional and productive relationship with the client and all authorized stakeholders.

Provide professional customer service and respond appropriately to client concerns and requests.

Ensure that client expectations and applicable quality standards are properly addressed.

Immediately communicate significant client concerns, operational issues, or contract-related matters to the appropriate management personnel.

Inform the Project Management Office (PMO) of every communication with the client, including, but not limited to, communications with the Performance Assessment Representative (PAR), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and/or Contracting Officer (CO).

Failure to properly report required communications with the PAR, COR, CO, or other designated client representatives may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, in accordance with Company policy and applicable contractual requirements.

Maintain daily communication with the Project Management Office (PMO) regarding the progress, status, challenges, and operational needs of the contract.

Provide accurate and timely updates regarding field operations, staffing, work completion, quality, safety, and customer concerns.

Participate in weekly conference calls between the PMO and Field Operations Managers as required.

Maintain appropriate records and documentation of field activities and communications.

Promptly report incidents, accidents, safety concerns, equipment issues, personnel matters, and other situations requiring management attention.

Ensure that information communicated to management is accurate, timely, and complete.

Previous experience in field supervision, facilities management, janitorial services, maintenance operations, construction, or a related field preferred.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.

Experience coordinating employees, vendors, contractors, or other field resources.

This position is performed at a federal healthcare facility serving U.S. Veterans in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Field Working Supervisor will routinely interact with field employees, Company management, facility personnel, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
The position requires regular presence in field operations and may involve walking throughout the facility, inspecting work areas, monitoring employees, attending meetings, and responding to operational needs.
