Overview
Join our dynamic automotive team as a Service Advisor specializing in Cadillac vehicles! In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled service technicians. Your enthusiasm for automobiles, combined with exceptional customer service skills, will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. You’ll manage service appointments, communicate repair needs clearly, and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer priorities with shop capacity
Clearly explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer value
Write detailed service orders and estimates using auto estimating software while ensuring accuracy and transparency
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs like diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, or auto body repairs
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing vehicle maintenance or automobile sales opportunitiesQualifications
Proven dealership or automotive service management experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
Familiarity with auto estimating tools, service writing, and customer relationship management systems
Knowledge of mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, tire service, suspension, shocks & struts, alignment, diesel engines, and auto body repair
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
Experience in upselling services such as vehicle maintenance packages or automotive repairs to enhance revenue opportunities
Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience or service technician background preferred
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all transactions
