As a Barista + Roastery Operations Specialist at Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee, you’ll craft delicious drinks, guide customers to their perfect roasted coffee, and help them discover the brewing gear, mugs, and accessories that make coffee at home just as fun as visiting us. You'll also work hands on in the roastery, preparing freshly roasted coffee bags for customer orders.
We’ll train you in everything from espresso to pour-over — no prior coffee experience needed. What matters most is a genuine love for people, proven ability to learn, and enthusiasm for sharing great coffee, along with a detail-oriented, process-focused mindset that ensures every drink and interaction is top quality.

Job Details
- Schedule: Hourly 5 days per week, Monday-Friday ~30 hours
- Shifts are M-F, between hours of 7am-1pm
- Location: Ketchum, Idaho
- Starting Salary: $26/hr plus tips
- Start Date: August or Early September

Core tasks:
Morning Coffee Bar & Retail (8:00–11:00 AM)
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, friendly experience for every guest. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, preparing espresso and coffee beverages to Lizzy's quality standards, assisting customers with roasted coffee and brewing equipment purchases, and maintaining an organized, inviting retail environment. Employees will receive extensive training in coffee preparation and product knowledge with the goal of becoming a top-level barista and a trusted Lizzy's Fresh Coffee expert.
Daily Coffee Production, Packaging & Shipping
Prepare, package, and ship freshly roasted coffee orders according to established quality standards and production procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Selecting the correct coffee bags, labels, and packaging materials
- Weighing and grinding coffee to precise specifications
- Sealing and labeling bags to company standards
- Carefully packing orders for shipment or local delivery
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for carrier pickup
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the entire fulfillment process.
Daily Cleaning & Organization
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace by assisting with daily cleaning and upkeep of the coffee roaster, packaging equipment, production areas, coffee bar, restroom, and general office spaces.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with a variety of operational tasks as needed, including:
- General office support
- Inventory organization and material procurement
- Receiving and stocking deliveries
- Roaster cleaning and maintenance
- Customer service
- Retail merchandising
- Other duties as assigned to support the daily operations of Lizzy's Fresh Coffee.
