Full Job Description

Broadway USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Machinist / Mold Maker to join our growing team in West Berlin, New Jersey. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in precision craftsmanship and are committed to producing high-quality tooling and machined components.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret CAD drawings/ 2D drawings, engineering drawings, and shop work orders.
Set up and operate manual and/or CNC milling machines, surface grinders, lathes, and other precision machine tools.
Build, repair, modify, and maintain molds, tooling, fixtures, and precision components.
Machine parts to close tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend process improvements.
Work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering and production teams.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Machinist, Mold Maker, Tool Maker, or in a similar precision manufacturing role.
Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and precision measurement.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience working to close tolerances with a strong attention to detail.
Mold-making experience is highly desirable.
Experience with SolidWorks, Mastercam or UG (Siemens NX) software is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Vocational, technical, or apprenticeship training in machining or toolmaking is a plus.
