Sweet Sanctions is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bakery Production Assistant to join our growing custom cookie bakery.
This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn a wide variety of skills and prefer to not interact with customers. 99% of our productions gets shipped nationwide so you will be working closely with a small production team to ensure deadlines and quality is met per order. We can teach bakery-specific skills. What we can't teach is reliability, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
What You'll Do
As a Bakery Production Assistant, you'll help keep production moving efficiently by assisting with a variety of support tasks, including:
- Cleaning and maintaining workstations
- Folding bakery boxes
- Packaging finished cookies
- Applying product labels
- Mixing icing colors
- Making cookie dough
- Preparing supplies for decorators
- Organizing inventory and supplies
- Assisting with production and bakery projects as needed
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other baking tools.
- Assist in the preparation of custom decorated cookies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods.

Our production schedule depends on everyone doing their part. When one task falls behind, it affects the entire production timeline and delays future projects. We're looking for someone who understands the importance of teamwork, efficiency, and meeting deadlines.
Schedule
- Work is based on current project availability and production needs.
- Contractors have the flexibility to accept available projects that fit their schedule.
- Most projects take place during daytime hours, and we strive to complete production by approximately 2:30 PM whenever possible. However, busy season, September through June, often can open available projects in the evenings.
- Weekend projects are oped for availability only when production demands require them, and we work hard to keep weekends free as much as possible possible.
- Project availability varies throughout the year, with busier and slower seasons.
Hiring Process
To make sure this opportunity is a great fit for everyone, our hiring process includes:

- In-person interview
- A minimum of three paid trial shadow sessions (approximately 1–2 hours each)
