At Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital, our Client Service Representatives are the first and last impression our clients have of our hospital. They are trusted members of the healthcare team who keep the hospital running smoothly while helping clients navigate some of their happiest and hardest moments.

Client Service Representatives Are Essential to Patient Care
Our CSRs are much more than receptionists.
They are trusted communicators, problem-solvers, organizers, and advocates for both our clients and our medical team. They help ensure every patient receives outstanding care by creating an exceptional client experience from the very first phone call through checkout.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Scheduling appointments efficiently and accurately
- Managing a multi-line phone system
- Answering client questions and directing calls appropriately
- Collecting and updating accurate patient and client information
- Processing invoices and payments
- Educating clients on hospital services, guidelines, and preventative care recommendations
- Coordinating communication between clients and the medical team
- Supporting patient flow and hospital efficiency
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Assisting with administrative projects as needed
- Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
You'll work closely with our veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and assistants in a collaborative environment where communication and teamwork are essential to delivering outstanding patient care.

Experience
Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in a veterinary hospital, medical office, dental practice, or other healthcare setting is strongly preferred but not required.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Predictable four-day work week
- Schedule posted 90 days in advance
- Rotating Saturdays (approximately 4–6 Saturdays per year)
