Full Job Description

Section Line Holdings, LLC is a privately held Texas company that acquires and holds rural and undeveloped acreage across the State of Texas for long-duration investment and future development. The company is based in Austin and is not publicly traded.

In this role, the Land Acquisition Associate will operate as a self-directed team member responsible for sourcing, structuring, and advancing rural land transactions across Texas, including but not limited to:

Identify and assess rural tracts meeting the company’s acquisition criteria
Lead direct off-market landowner outreach in compliance with TREC regulations
Apply familiarity with option structures and create land ownership options
Conduct ownership and title research
Analyze market trends, comparable sales, and land-use considerations
Provide regular progress updates and manage to defined deadlines and budget parameters

The Land Acquisition Associate will be an accomplished, self-directed, and resourceful professional with a proven ability to negotiate and close rural land transactions in Texas. The ideal candidate will have:

An active Texas Real Estate Broker License
5+ years of land acquisition experience
Familiarity with option structures and land ownership options
Demonstrated portfolio and track record of completed rural land transactions
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
