We are now looking for Dishwashers and experienced Line Cooks at our Shelby Twp location!

Kitchen Team Member

Who You Are

As a Kitchen Team Member at Bad Brads BBQ, you'll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running efficiently. Whether you're preparing great food on the line or ensuring the kitchen stays clean and organized, you'll be part of a team that values hard work, teamwork, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining high food quality and sanitation standards.

What You'll Do

Line Cook Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items while maintaining Bad Brads BBQ quality standards.
Work efficiently during busy service periods with a sense of urgency.
Keep your station stocked, clean, and organized throughout each shift.
Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
Follow all Health Department food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work alongside the kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service.
Continuously learn, improve techniques, and grow within the kitchen.

Dishwasher / Porter Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Return clean cookware and equipment to designated storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, prep areas, and dish station.
Empty trash and assist with maintaining an organized workspace.
Sweep, mop, and complete daily cleaning and sanitation tasks.
Clean food prep stations and equipment.
Assist with basic food preparation as needed.
Support the kitchen team during station turnover and end-of-shift breakdown.

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
Reliable with dependable transportation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
