DORO Marketplace is a high energy, fast growing premium bakery cafe concept with several new openings scheduled in the coming 12 months.

Overview

We are seeking dynamic and energetic BOH (Back of House) Shift Managers to grow with us and to lead our kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring smooth food production, safety, and team coordination. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

Oversee all kitchen activities during your shift, including food preparation, cooking, and food safety compliance
Manage inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times
Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and timely service
Assist with shift scheduling, staff training, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity

Requirements

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations
Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant environments
Knowledge of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling best practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training, and team management
Basic math skills for budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and inventory tracking
Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is preferred
