Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and detail-oriented Mitigation Manager to lead our emergency water and fire restoration department. In this vital role, you will oversee the implementation of effective mitigation strategies to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold safety regulations, and maintain high standards of industrial and commercial cleaning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse teams, coordinate complex cleaning projects, and promote a culture of excellence within the hospitality or industrial sectors.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate staff involved in IICRC mitigation and fire remediation services to ensure efficient operations.
Develop, support and implement mitigation plans that adhere to company handbook, safety regulations and industry best practices.
Create daily work orders across for multiple project sites, including residential industrial facilities, hotels, or commercial spaces.
Train and mentor team members on proper work techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
Monitor compliance with health and safety standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory of mitigation supplies and equipment.
Assist with investigations into safety incidents or operational issues, implementing corrective actions promptly.
Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, communication, and recognition of staff achievements.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in IICRC approved methods of all mitigation services.
Strong background in managing insurance restoration teams within commercial, residential or municipal environments.
Extensive knowledge of safety regulations related to mitigation and facility management.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in managing large-scale cleaning operations with a focus on quality control and compliance.
Familiarity with laundry services management is a plus.
Prior experience in managing staff schedules, training programs, and inventory control is highly desirable.
