The Crust restaurant hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 8 AM to 3 PM.

Starting hourly rate is based on experience!

Responsibilities Include:

Preparation of prep items according to Crust specifications and guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of station and surrounding areas including storage areas and surfaces
Abide by Crust’s company policies and standards for quality, cleanliness, teamwork, etc.
Communicates with other departments within the restaurant kitchen and bakery including line, expo, front of house, management, etc.
Prepping various foods and menu items by means of washing, chopping, slicing, cooking, sauteeing, baking, and frying.

Qualifications:

At least one year of prep cook, food handling, or kitchen experience (preferred)
Experience as a prep cook in a restaurant that primarily serves breakfast and lunch items (preferred)
Basic knife handling skills preferred
Basic culinary and sanitation skills preferred

Success in this Position is Generally Exhibited by those who:

Have flexible availability between the hours 8 AM and 4 PM and on the weekends
Have line cook experience or are otherwise familiar with how to execute the above responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
Are able to be on their feet for the majority of an 8 hour shift
Have high sanitation standards and have a well-developed understanding of food safety regulations
Exhibit a high level of teamwork and are able to work alongside others/assist others when needed. Our work environment thrives on the ability to work as a team!
Make it a priority to arrive to work on-time with little to no absences or punctuality issues. The nature of this position is heavily reliant on our staff's ability to come to work and execute the day to day responsibilities required of them

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
