Front Desk Receptionist / Dental Insurance & Billing Coordinator

Location: Bucks County, PA

We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and motivated Front Desk Receptionist / Dental Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join our growing dental practice in Bucks County. If you have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we'd love to meet you!

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, takes initiative, and understands the business side of dentistry. Dental office experience is required.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first impression.
Check patients in and out efficiently.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and questions.
Follow up with patients regarding appointments and outstanding treatment.
Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and process payments.
Discuss financial arrangements and payment plan options with patients.
Schedule and coordinate appointments while maximizing the doctor's and hygienists' schedules.
Verify, enter, and update patient insurance information in the practice management software.
Assist with insurance verification, claims, and other front office administrative tasks.
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
Work closely with the clinical team to provide an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

Previous dental office experience is required.
Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and treatment planning.
Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix experience is a plus).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable discussing financial responsibilities with patients.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow.
